Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation:

A psychiatric diagnostic evaluation is a comprehensive assessment where we gather information about your symptoms, medical history, and life experiences. It’s the first step toward gaining clarity and finding the support you deserve. This is done through telehealth.
Psychotherapy:
Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a collaborative process where we work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through evidence-based techniques, we’ll identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and work toward your goals. Whether you’re managing stress, navigating life changes, or seeking personal growth, psychotherapy provides a safe space for healing and empowerment. Sessions are always tailored to your unique needs and preferences, ensuring a supportive and meaningful experience. This is done through telehealth.
Prices below reflect both of these services individually. The psychiatric diagnostic evaluation is typically the first appointment. They are both 50-minute sessions.
Walk-and-Talk Therapy:
Walk-and-talk therapy combines the benefits of physical movement with the therapeutic process, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional sessions. These mental health counseling sessions will be conducted in McAllen and Edinburg, Texas, these sessions encourage mindfulness, reduce stress, and provide a more active approach to processing thoughts and emotions. This flexible option allows you to engage in therapy in a way that feels natural and empowering.

At Luminary Light Counseling, I believe that quality mental health care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. To support this commitment, I offer a sliding scale fee structure based on your income and ability to pay. This approach ensures that you can receive the care you need without unnecessary financial strain. If you have questions about the sliding scale or would like to see if you qualify, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, we can find an option that works for you.
Private pay:
I operate on a private pay basis and do not accept insurance directly. However, I offer superbills for out-of-network benefits, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider prior to booking for a paid service.
This allows you to receive high-quality, personalized care while exploring options to offset costs through your insurance. If you have questions about superbills or how to use them, I’m happy to assist.
